Basic Fields
Airtable's field types help you to add and view data intuitively.
Single line text field
Example: On a list of goals, a single line text field could be used as the title of the goal.
Long text field
Example: The goal you just created needs a description. Use the long text field to provide details and rich text formatting so you can add details to your heart's content.
Email, URL, and phone number fields
Example: You're tracking your action items for each goal, and you'd like the option to record contact and website info to help you accomplish each task.
Date (and time) field
Example: This field can help track your due date for each action item on your to do list.
Duration field
Example: Use this field type to record estimates of how long each action item on your to do list will take.
Attachment field
Example: Add an image to each goal for instant visual appeal. Remember, the files can be on your computer or uploaded by link!
